We successfully made it through Mia's first Halloween. After racing home from work, I managed to get Mia changed into her costume just in time for the first trick-or-treaters to knock at the door. Since it didn't seem right to haul Mia around to our neighbors in order to collect candy that would only be eaten by us, we decided to hand candy out as a family instead. The weather was really nice, so the three of us sat on the front stoop & greeted all the costumed kids as they came by. Mia sat quietly, taking it all in...until she got hungry & lost interest!
