According to all the baby guides, a normal eight to nine month old baby should be going through major separation anxiety right now. Mia, on the other hand, seems to be experiencing none of this! And while I'm happy that I don't have to contend with a screaming child as I leave for work in the morning, I'm also a little jealous that she doesn't need me the way that some babies need their mommies all the time.It does make coming home from work that much sweeter though, because when I walk in the door, all she wants is me--arms flailing, squealing with joy!
